Microsoft Access

Microsoft Access is a helpful data analysis tool for businesses as it is a database management system used to store and manage data. Access is part of the Microsoft 365 suite, and is made for business and enterprise users. While this may seem very similar to one of Microsoft’s other applications Excel, they are very different programs.

Description

Microsoft Access is a part of the Microsoft 365 family and is a powerful productivity tool handmade for businesses and other enterprising users. Similar to Microsoft Excel, Access lets you view and edit data. However, Access is the more powerful program of the two and can handle much more data at once. Access was made to store and manage vast amounts of data in a form that makes it easy to retrieve and use in different applications. Databases on Access can be manipulated with pre-made forms and queries. It can also be connected to other applications, meaning when those other apps generate data, it’s automatically ported over to Access.
