This is an ideal opportunity for those wanting to learn about all the functions of a sales company, learning a variety of tasks including accounts, IT, customer service and database management for which full training will be provided. The role will encompass all aspects of the sales process from beginning to end.

Westwood Associates is an established IT supplier of computer hardware, software and services (trading for over 30 years) to the business sector as well as education establishments. We provide consultancy to customers wanting to improve their IT infrastructure and take pride in building relationships with our customers.

Day-to-day activity

• Speaking to customers and suppliers
• Preparing electronic quotations
• Loading sales orders onto the system
• Invoicing
• Administering returns and faulty goods equipment online
• Placing orders with suppliers

What does it take to do this job?

• Strong IT skills are desirable with a keenness to work in a fast paced environment
• Good verbal and communication skills
• The ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve.
• Able to work well under pressure and show a willingness to learn and develop
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely
• Confident on the telephone
• Shows good attention to detail
