About us

We are committed to maintaining our practises to prevent slavery and human trafficking. The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires all large businesses to produce an annual statement setting out the steps they have taken to prevent modern slavery in their business and supply chains.
We are a reseller of goods and provide services in the IT sector. We are based in Chalfont St. Peter, UK, we have 15 employees, and we operate within the UK.


Our policies on slavery and human trafficking

We are opposed to slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. Including but not limited to: exploitation, being controlled by an employer, being sold or treated as a commodity, forced labour, child labour, debt bondage, being physically constrained and restrictions on movement. Westwood Associates has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We will continue to act with integrity and ethically in all our business dealings. Westwood Associates, expects all its partners and suppliers to uphold high standards in all their business practises.


Adhering to modern slavery guidelines

As part of our commitment to adhering to the government guidelines and to mitigate risk. We have reviewed the anti-slavery statements of all the relevant partners in our supply chain. We are reassured that they are undertaking the necessary precautions with their policies and procedures to help eradicate slavery and trafficking. In addition, many of our partners adhere to the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition which ensures strict compliance with sound environmental and ethical principles.


Compliance

We ensure that our employees have the right to work and are therefore protected by all UK employment legislation. This includes checking right to work documentation, visas, and passports. We expect our partners to take the same necessary precautions.


Responsibility

Westwood Associates Managing Director has overall responsibility for ensuring that this statement complies with Westwood’s legal and ethical obligations, and that we comply with all those under our control.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the MSA and constitutes Westwood Associates anti-slavery and human trafficking statement for financial year ending 31 December 2022.
